Project Organisation

The staffing and resourcing is managed by having detailed metrics available indicating skills and experience levels of each staff member, the current project allocation and expected availability dates. All project staffing is done by experienced HR professionals who assist Project Managers staff projects with right kind of skill sets and experience levels.

India based sourcing gives MultiMission the flexibility of hiring new staff as and when required, as India has a large work force of trained manpower available.

Project Management & Control

In addition to building the infrastructure to support distributed development, MultiMission has developed a robust process for design and development of e-Business Solutions. The process encompasses all activities required to plan, design, develop, deploy, operate and manage the solution.

MultiMission creates a secured extranet for the onsite and offshore team when required. This extranet is used for uploading project reports, latest code, prototypes, etc. In addition, weekly project review meetings between the client's project manager and MultiMission's project manager are held. The communication is also facilitated via regular conference calls between the onsite and offshore teams.

Onsite to Offshore Transition

Whenever the onsite team returns, a full knowledge sharing session is conducted for already trained persons offshore, so as to plug any holes from their understanding of the requirements and also to transfer the client specific requirements to the project team.

Typically the transition from onsite to offshore maintenance is gradual. MultiMission decreases the onsite staffing and increases the offshore staffing gradually. Hence there is always an onsite team available to support and maintain the service levels until the offshore team comes up to speed.

Dedicated Facilities & Security

Multiple projects run concurrently in the development centers. Each project has dedicated seating space, hardware, software available to the development team and access to the project area is controlled to adhere to the confidentiality requirements of the clients.
